A COPY OF THE .DLL FILE IS necessary TO RUN THESE PROGRAMS. Dload the .dll and PUT IT IN THE SAME folder the programs are in.

Straight Checkers is download program-ONLY. It is recommended you get "SmartDownload" a very small and FREE utility that does your downloading, when you choose to save a file to disk. It takes over from the Browser. Browser (and Windows) may "timeout" before the file is completely dloaded, and therefore an incomplete file will not work. SmartDownload is from Netscape, and at download software site, like Cnet.com. YOu can also type SmartDownload in a search engine to find it and dload it. You can also pause a dload and resume it later with this fine utility.

All 3 of our programs are "Evaluation" copies and will run 3 days before expiring. To UNLOCK them, the mid and site numbers have to be sent to me, so an Registration code can be returned.

When the program load, a box appears. The status says "Evaluation" and "enter application" is checked. To run the program hit continue as soon as you dload it. It is recommended you let it stay on the screen a few seconds before hitting continue, while waiting for registration codes to be returned.

At the top of the box are 2 numbers. A Mid and Site number. Drag across the mid number till it's highlighted, and hold down the control key and hit the letter c. this copies it to the clipboard, or "sticks it on your mouse. Load your email program, and hold down control and hit the letter v. This will paste it int he email to me. Do the same for the site #.
